Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is seeking applicants for a personal service contract for a medical records clerk to provide services at the Indian Health Service, Fort Thompson Health Center, P.O. Box 200, Fort Thompson, SD 57339. The medical records clerk will be required to take direction form the Medical Records Supervisor in all areas of the position including, but limited to, assembling medical records in proper order, assuring that all necessary forms and documents are present and complete, filing, answering the phone, handling requests for patient charts, etc. The contractor must comply with the Privacy Act of 1974. The period of performance will be from date of award through 9/30/2000 with three one-year option years.
