D -- SYSTEMS INTEGRATION OF CENTRACOM CONSOLE NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Motorola, Inc. for the purchase and installation of specialized communications equipment. This equipment is a direct replacement for existing communication systems used at the Ellsworth AFB fire station. The CentraCom console provides access and control of all communication circuits within the fire hall to include: Phone, Land Mobile Radio, Paging, Alarm Control, Central Intercom, Overhead Door Control and E911 Systems. Existing systems interface and full systems integration is required due to the UHF narrowband digital trunking system used at Ellsworth AFB. The proposed contract action is for the supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals. All proposals received by 4:00 p.m., MST, 26 April 2000 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
