WEB-BASED TRAVEL & EXPENSE SERVICES The following notice is a request for information only. It is not a pre-solicitation notice and firms should not respond by requesting to be placed on a solicitation mailing list. The Department of Transportation (DOT) is exploring the possibility of acquiring Web-Based Travel & Expense (T&E) services for itself, other federal entities, and others for whom the government is funding or reimbursing travel expenses following Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) rules. A request for information was posted on June 24, 1999 and industry comments/input have been evaluated by the Government. A draft Statement of Work, local contract clauses, proposal instructions, and evaluation criteria for a possible solicitation are now available for comment at http://www.eps.gov (see the listings for Department of Transportation under the posted date of April 11, 2000 and/or reference number SVC-180-R-1). In addition, DOT will be hosting a pre-solicitation conference for interested parties on April 25, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 6200 of the DOT Headquarters Building, 400 7th Street, S.W., Washington, DC 20590.
