R -- ANTENNA MANAGEMENT SERVICES THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF A SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information invited herein. General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing this synopses and special notice to determine industry interest and is hereby inviting comments, advice, and statements of interest regarding industry's approach to supplying GSA with antenna management services. This information is sought by the Southwest Region of the General Services Administration (GSA) which manages leased and federally owned properties in large cities and small towns throughout the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. GSA is requesting information, comments, expressions of interest and other information from interested and experienced applicants in managing antennas on its properties. For the purpose of this inquiry, _antennas_ includes not only antennas, but telecommunication devices such as microwaves, satellite dishes, whips, and less common devices such as lasers, or any device for the transmission, relay, or reception of television, AM or FM radio, or microwave signals. Management would include developing and recommending market rent rates for our customers in federal space, as well as outleasing space on government-owned properties to non-federal customers. Managing may consist of any combination of the following: developing and recommending market rates to charge GSA's customers; recommending placement of antennas on roofs to optimize long-term income; identifying potential outlease customers and marketing space to them.
