Furnish two fully contractor operated and maintained 4 passenger seat, turbine engine B206B or equal helicopters in support of Bureau of Land Management, Alaska activities. Certification under 14 CFR, Chapter 135, Air Taxi Operators and Commercial Operators is required. The term of this contract is for one year with options to renew for two additional years. The first helicopter will be based in Ivotuk, Alaska and operating primarily on the North Slope/NPR-A area with occasional operations in the interior. Pilot and mechanic will be in no-frills tent camps part of the time and in commercial lodging at other times. Contract period is 90 days beginning May 26, 2000. The 2nd helicopter will be based in Anchorage, Alaska and is expected to fly into various villages such as Scammon Bay, Atqasak, McGrath, and Aniak to conduct field support.
