Dickey (605)353-9215 The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to remove approximately 63 miles of existing 1/2-inch EHS galvanized steel strand overhead ground wire and install approximately 63 miles of Government-furnished fiber optic overhead ground wire, hardware, and associated accessories on the Garrison-Bismarck 230-kV Transmission Line, in Burleigh and McLean Counties, North Dakota. The standard industrial classification code for this project is 1623. This solicitation is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. Estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This solicitation will be issued on or about May 1, 2000. The projected bid opening date is on or about June 6, 2000. All work shall be completed within 300 calendar days after receipt of a notice to proceed.
