N68711-00-B-8406 MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF ELEVATORS AT NBVC This solicitation is for the repair and maintenance services for elevators, dumbwaiters, automotive lifts, and dock leveling devices at the Naval Base Ventura County (Naval Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme, CA and Naval Air Station Point Mugu, CA). General requirements are for the contractor to provide all labor, management, supervision, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to perform all inspection, testing, maintenance and repair requirements to the Vertical Transportation Equipment (VTE). It is the Government intention to procure by means of a combination fixed price with indefinite quantity contract. Pursuant to Public Law 100-656, this procurement is being solicited as unrestricted. This solicitation is for a base year and four (4) 12 months option years for a total of 60 months. Estimated price is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1796. The contractor or his Responsible Managing Employee (RME) shall possess a current State of California contractors license in the applicable classification. All prospective bidders and plan rooms must register as plan holders on the website in order to receive (download) a copy of the Statement of Work. The official plan holder's list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. Plan holders lists will not be faxed and will only be available from the website.
