16 -- BUSHING/BEARING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION SETS FOR THE CH-60S SOL n68335-00-Q-0150 DUE 042700 POC Judith A. Dastis, Contract Specialist, (732) 323-7339 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, (NAWCAD), Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations with the sole source of supply, Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, CT. The NAWCAD intends to procure four (4) Bushing/Bearing Removal/Installation Sets P/N 70700-77340-042, for the CH-60S Helicopter. The Bushing /Bearing Removal/Installation Set is used at the organizational level of maintenance to remove and replace any of the following bushings, or bearings located in the Stabilator and pylon sections.: (1) KMD 14-13 Spherical Bearing, (2) MS 14103-10 Spherical Bearing and the 70209-26007-128 bushing, (3) The 70209-16007-103 Bushings, (4) The MS 1410-8 Spherical Bearing and (5) The 70209-26007-131 Bushing. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the developer and OEM and possesses the proprietary data and technology. Inspection and acceptance will be at source with Best Commercial Packaging/Packing. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Lakehurst, NJ by September 30, 2000. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may or may not be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals must be received within 15 days. Responses should reference N68335-00-Q-0150. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
