This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/LaRC intends to purchase the items from Supercritical Fluid Technologies Inc. This supercritical fluid processing unit is for the production of aerogel materials, in which, SFT is the only company that can offer the complete off the shelf product. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing or by fax to Ms. Terry Cobb, NASA/Larc, M/S 126, 9 Langley Blvd., Bldg. 1195A, Room 214, Hampton, VA 23681; the fax number is 757-864-9775, not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on APRIL 27, 2000.
