This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13 and the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The standard industrial code is 3663, and the business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for one (1) line items as follows. Line Item 0001: two (2) each "0.5 -- 18" GHz microwave receiver / tuners. The unit must have the following minimum specifications: low phase noise < 0.5 degrees RMS, 100 Hz tuning resolution, 1 GHz / 500 MHz BW output, 70 / 140 / 160 MHz IF outputs, AM / FM / LOG video -- optional, and milli-meter frequency extension. The unit must have the following options: 1 GHz frequency, 160 MHz frequency, front panel, log with signal strength, AGC / MGC output, and AM video / audio. Unit must also have the following special features: variable input attenuator, audio pulse stretching, external blanking inputs, and 1 GHz Gaussian filter.
