solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the
format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation
will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is
N66604-00-Q-3840. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the
following items from GSH Intelligent Integrated Systems, 95 Fairmount
St., Fitchburg, Ma 01420. Item 0001, p/n UREV60RMDP-245-1024M-9GB-DPGX,
Sun Workstation Ultra Sparc 60 w/dual 450 CPU, 4mb cache, dual 3D
Creator Graphics, 19" Rack mount chassis (6U), 4mm disk drive, CD-ROM,
Floppy, Sound Card, 9.1 GB HD (removable), Qty of two (2). Item 0002,
Sun 256MB Upgrade, X7004A, Qty of eight (8). GSH is the only known
source that can meet the hardware requirements. The workstations are
specially built with the form factor that resides in a 19" rack mount
chassis. Must be capable of running software package of Wind River
Systems VxWorks development and debugging environment, and Mercury
Computer/operating system (MC/OS) development modes. Required delivery
is 5/15/2000. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI.
This is 100% set-aside for small business. SIC Code is 3577; size
standard is 1000 employees. Incorporated provisions and clauses are
those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. FAR
