B -- DEVELOPMENT OF SAMPLES THAT ARE SUITABLE AND STABLE FOR USE IN PERFORMANCE EVALUATION (PE) & QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) OF HUMAN MOLECULAR GENETICS TESTING (HMGT), & TO PILOT TEST THESE SAMPLES FOR USE AS POSITIVE CONTROLS IN HMGT TESTS SOL 200-N-00063 DUE 061500 POC Allyson Shoe,(770) 488-2649, Section I, Mail-Stop K-18 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is planning to make award of a contract to: investigate the feasability of various approaches for developing positive samples for hMGT using at least two approaches; verify the stability over time and suitability of positive samples developed through this project for use in performance evaluation and quality control; pilot test the positive samples developed through this project for use in quality assurance or performance evaluation; analyze data from the research and pilot testing of positive control samples developed through this project, and produce a detailed report of research methods, procedures, and findings.
