The Department of Energy requires a system to replace its existing Printing Procurement Job Tacking System to improve customer service and also to automate the financial billing process to the Working Capital Fund (WCF ). The Printing Procurement Job Tracking System (JTS) was developed as a LAN based computer application. The Department of Energy uses the JTS in its Germantown, Maryland and Washington, DC sites. A beta test system has been installed on some user work stations to inspire future development of a new system. The Department of Energy anticipates issuance of a competitive solicitation.
