Provide the US Department of Energy, Office of Administration Services,
with a Web-based Automated, State of the Art System to track and
process Printing, Copying, Distribution and Graphics Services. The
Department of Energy requires a system to replace its existing Printing
Procurement Job Tacking System to improve customer service and also to
automate the financial billing process to the Working Capital Fund
(WCF ). The Printing Procurement Job Tracking System (JTS) was
developed as a LAN based computer application. The Department of Energy
uses the JTS in its Germantown, Maryland and Washington, DC sites. A
beta test system has been installed on some user work stations to
inspire future development of a new system. The Department of Energy
anticipates issuance of a competitive solicitation. This procurement is
set-aside for small business. Firms interested in being included in the
bidders' list should submit request by phone, fax or e-mail. The e-mail

amendments will be available by downloading from the Internet from the
"Industry Interactive Procurement System" (IIPS) home page located at
address: http://doe-iips.pr.doe.gov There will be no hard (paper)
copies of the solicitation made available. Prospective bidders who do
not have electronic means to download the solicitation shall submit a
written request, with a 3.5" disk and return mailer, to Document
Control Specialist MA-544, US Department of Energy, 1000 Independence
Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20585. Potential bidders desiring
notification of release of the solicitation should request this and
provide point of contact, name, telephone and FAX numbers and e-mail
address, if available. All submissions from interested parties must be
received within fifteen (15) days of the publication date of this
synopsis. Firms will have to register in the IIPS system in order to
download the solicitation. It is the responsibility of prospective
bidders, after receipt of solicitation, to notify the Contract
Specialist of their intent to bid and review the posted solicitation
