This contract action is for the preventive mainteance services and
emergency repair services which includes, parts, labor, materials,
equipment, travel, and software for the Philips V-3000 Special
Procedure Suite for the contract peirod of one year, plus four option
years, for which the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, San
Francisco intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under
the authority of FAR 6.302. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The list of
parts that constitute this system are the following: Philips V-3000
Special Procedure Suite with the Integris Super 100 CP Generator, site
46947, PM # 6525-5663, located in Bldg. 200, RM 1A127, Radiology
Department. The system includes the following parts: CESAR Angiographic
Stand, AD5 Vascular Table, Intergris Super 100 CP Generator, IMAGICA
Pentaview Image Intensifier, XTV II Chain System, SRM 03/10 Tibe
Assembly, Integris Digital Vascular Imaging, Integris V3000 Puck C with
Universal Stand and SEP 3 programmer, Integris V-3000 Motor Drive
Option, Integris V-3000 Second X-Ray tube option with CS-62 Ceiling
Rail System, Ceiling Suspension for monitors, PDU 9000, HM 20s Monitors
(5 ea), 3M Laser Imager Plus Compatible with DSI, Medrad Angiographic
Injector Mark V, Optical Disk Recorder. This is a notice of intent to
issue a sole source contract to Philips Medical Systems Inc.,
Pleasanton, CA. for the services as listed above. Responsible sources
who are interested in this procurement shall submit in response, clear
and convincing information that identifies their capabilities. The
items listed above are Philips Part Numbers. This service may involve
proprietary information, the Government will not supply any equipment
or information for this service. All responses must be received by
02:00 p.m. PST., May 24, 2000. Offers must be delivered to VA Medical
Center, 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121, ATTN: MARIA

Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be competed with
resulting award under the Simpified Acquisition Procedures.
