The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command intends to award a sole source contract to TRW Inc. for maintenance support of the GUARDRAIL COMMON SENSOR SYSTEM(-)(GR/CS(-))to be performed in Korea. Sole Source Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1). This effort shall include Field Service Representatives (FSRs) providing the following: (a) technical and hands-on assistance in the areas of preflighting and post flighting mission equipment, (b) assistance to unit maintenance personnel in performing fault isolation which exceeds the organic capabilities, (c) organizational support through direct support technical and hands-on assistance to ensure that preventative maintenance efforts are performed, (d) organizational support through depot level and hands-on assistance to isolate faults which exceed the unit's organic capability for the missions systems, subsystems, assemblies and subassemblies, (e) technical and hands-on assistance as required in the calibrations and alignment of mission equipment (f) technical and hands-on assistance that exceeds organic capabilities in the areas of testing and checking of repaired mission systems, subsystems, assemblies and subassemblies to assure and verify that optimum system performance has been restored to those failed items, and (g) GR/CS systems ON-THE-JOB TRAINING to unit personnel on maintenance of mission systems, subsystems, assemblies, and subassemblies. The proposed FSR personnel must possess a Top Secret Special Intelligence (TSSI) clearance. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. No written request for quotations exists. Interested parties may identify their interest by submitting fully descriptive capability statements no later than 15 days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
