This is a market survey for potential sources sought in providing hands on training to 20-30 military personnel for the implosion of wood structures with use of civilian explosives. Upon completion of the training, military personnel will demonstrate ability to plan, execute and supervise safe implosion of wood structures by imploding the Moore Mill Truck Shop building in Bandon, Oregon. Contractor to coordinate with Port of Bandon, State, Federal and local authorities to ensure that all required permits, licenses and any required letters of approval are issued. Contractor to provide all needed explosives. Contractor will assume all liability for the implosion process and the safety plan to be used. Contractor to supervise all aspects of the implosion process. Contractor will obtain appropriate permission from Port of Bandon to demolish the project. All potential contractors must attend the mandatory site visit that is scheduled for May 22, 2000 at 10:00 am local time. Pictures are available for viewing at web site www.oregonguard.com/bandon.
