The Correctional Services Branch, Federal Bureau of Prisons, is seeking information on companies that are capable of providing women's nickel gray long and short sleeve shirts and women's nickel gray work trousers. The specifications for the long and short sleeve nickel gray shirts are: Material: 65%/35% polyester twill. Standard nickel gray work shirt. Special Style: Must be specifically designed and tailored for a woman, different from the men's long sleeve shirt. Collar: Back of the stand is to measure 3.81 cm. The points are to be 6.99 cm in length and top stitched .63 cm from the edge. Front: Seven button closure, including collar button. Two pointed breast pockets 13.0 cm wide each with a pointed flap. Each flap is closed to pocket with a single gray 4 hole button. The left breast pocket has a pencil slot. Pockets to be plain. Sleeve: Short sleeve to be of single fabric and measure 27cm from shoulder seam to bottom of hem. Long sleeve: each sleeve to have cuff 5.5 cm wide. Each cuff to be fastened by a single button. Buttons: 19 ligne thermosetting polyester material to match shirt. Stitching: All stitching will encompass no less than 12 stitches per inch, unless otherwise specified. In addition, unless otherwise specified, all thread used will be 100% polyester, the same color as the shirt. Labels: A size label and care instructions shall be permanently affixed to the inside of the garment. The shirts will not be embroidered with the Bureau of Prisons logo. Range: Sizes 30 -- 46. Two quarter top front pockets and 2 inset rear pockets. Must be specifically designed and tailored for a woman, different from the men's trouser. Closure: Number 8 talon hook and number 85 eye. Zipper: YKK brass or equal, 1.11 cm wide, charcoal tape. Front Pockets: Top located 2.54cm from side seam. Opening 15.88 cm between bar tacks. Back Pockets: 12.7 cm wide and 15.24 cm deep. Located 6.35 cm below waistband and 4.45 cm from side seam. Buttonhold center 1.7 cm from top of welt. White 4-hold button. Darts centered over each pocket. Seaming: .95 cm deep with all raw edges serged. Seams pressed open. Thread: 70/2 polyester core. Seaming 50/2 polyester core. Seat seaming 150 polyester, the same color as the trouser. Stitching: All seams will be sewn with a safety stitch machine. All seat seams will be double safety stitched for added strength unless otherwise specified or acceptable. Labels: Interior label must show waist size and care instructions. Exterior label must show waist and length sizes. Belt Loops: Seven, each measuring 1 cm wide and 4 cm long to accomodate 1 1/4 inch width belt. Range: Sizes 4 -- 24, with outseams to 46.
