The U.S. Secret Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with R.E.L. Schneider Co., 4804 Curtis Ave., Baltimore, MD 21226, for -- Line Item 0001 -- three (3) stainless steel ammunition tables, type 304, 2B finish, 2" by 2" stainless steel tubing, with casters, 36" wide by 144" long, 16 ga, and -- Line Item 0002 -- forty-eight (48) aluminum shooting barricades, .125" thickness, type 3003, 1 " square aluminum tubing type 6063, 12" wide by 76" high. The equipment will be delivered FOB destination within 30 days to the USSS Rowley Training Center in Laurel, Maryland. Inspection and acceptances shall be at destination. No telephonic requests accepted. This is not a solicitation and there will be no solicitation document. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested firms must submit capability statements and provide written pricing information. Only written responses will be accepted and must be received within 10 calendar days of the date of this notice. Prospective offers must also provide information detailing past performance in providing similar or like services at time of proposal submission. Any response shall be mailed to the U. S.
