Johnson Engineering (JE), a SPACEHAB Company, is a prime contractor (NAS9-18800) to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at Johnson Space Center (JSC), Houston, TX. JE is seeking qualified sources that can provide Flight Hardware Air/Water Separation equipment that separates gases from liquids/water, for the International Space Station. The equipment must meet or exceed the following general requirements: Flow Rate(0 to 500 lbs./hr.), Maximum Pressure (10 to 85 psig), Temperature (65 to 113 degrees F), and Quality (11.5% free gas content at 20.7 psia and 113 degrees F). Waste water will be generated from a handwash system. The waste water will be sent to a Waste Water Recovery System (WWRS) for recycling. The waste water must contain less than 10% air and must circulate through the Air/Water Separator before the water can be delivered to the WWRS . Qualified sources are requested to submit a Statement of Capabilities (SOC), including a published price list, brochures, photos, and equipment specifications, within 15 calendar days of the publication date of this notice. The SOC information must demonstrate the ability to meet the general requirements described above. Include your business status (e.g., Small Disadvantaged or Woman-Owned Business, Small, or Large). JE reserves the right to pre-qualify any prospective suppliers prior to the issuance of any solicitation. All firms submitting a SOC will be considered.
