J-MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND REBUILDING OF EQUIPMENT The U.S. Coast Guard Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC proposes to extend Contract DTCG38-96-D-20001 for five (5) years. This contract is for management, maintenance and repair services for LTS101 engines utilized on the HH65A helicopter. The contractor provides inventory and configuration management, depot and field repair/maintenance, product improvements, shipping, storing and accounting for USCG-owned LTS101 engines. Contractor is required to maintain an inventory of repair and piece parts at the depot repair facility and USCG air stations to meet specified response times. The contract is a "Power by the Hour" contract with fixed hourly rates. Honeywell is the sole design authority and holds the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications and data rights for these engines. The Coast Guard intends to negotiate a five-year extension to the existing contract. Manfacturer's specifications are not available and a solicitation will not be issued. See Notes 22 and 26.
