U -- HAZARDOUS WASTE AND POLLUTION PREVENTION TRAINING AND SURVEYS SOL IFB RMAST-00-066 DUE 060100 POC Sharon Krenek (303) 275-5260; Mary Anne Ward, Contracting Officer This contract is to provide hazardous waste and pollution prevention training and surveys at forests and districts located in the Rocky Mountain Region of the USDA Forest Service. This work will include developing a series of support materials for the Rocky Mountain Region's hazardous waste and pollution prevention program, as well as conducting on-site visits at several designated forest and district facilities. As an integral part of the Forest Service program, the contractor shall work closely with the Regional Office Project Manager and designated project coordinators at each forest and district involved in the site surveys. A 1-day planning meeting will be scheduled within 30 days after contract award to review each item being developed under this contract. This meeting will finalize terminology to be used in the materials, all emergency and special environmental contacts to be used, graphics and icons, identification of the common wastestreams and functions, and many other details necessary to fully and completely adapt this protocol to Forest Service culture and the Rocky Mountain Region program.
