The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to construct walls for additional offices located at the Education Center, Barracks 4, USCG Integrated Support Command, KODIAK, ALASKA. Work is to include Demolition of: existing carpet, lighting, switches, walls, doors, curtain wall and supports, whiteboards. Work also includes Installation of: approximately 95 lf of new walls; two new doors including jambs, hardware, and trim; three existing doors; three window units and trim; GWB; 200 lf of rubber base; electrical outlets and communications outlets; alteration to existing lighting and wiring; one new 4 foot light fixture; 3 new smoke detectors; exit emergency light signs; new and existing carpeting; painting the existing curtain wall; and installation of chalk boards. Also includes revision of the fire sprinkler system and the ventilation system as shown on drawings. Telephone / communication system wiring will be installed by others; Contractor will install conduit and j-boxes, etc. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: Carpet tiles, adhesive, rubber cove base, rubber cove base adhesive. Performance Period is 30 days. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to samples of paint color, laboratory data, MSDS's, references / applicator's qualifications. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: National Electric Code; EIA/TIA Standard; Federal Specifications FS FF-N-105B, FF-S-111D, SS-S-118b, TT-P-650C, and TT-S-711C; International Conference of Building Officials; Uniform Building Code; ASTM Publications C36-80, C475-81, C514-77, E84-81, SS-W-40A, Int Am 1, and D1779-65 (R 1977); National Fire Protection Association Pub 56A-1978; SMACNA APIDC (1975); SMACNA HVACADLTM (1985); SMACNA RIDCS (1980); SMACNA RIDCSTD (1977); SMACNA TDCM (1974), applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regs.
