The National Data Buoy Center has a requirement for two types of rope. Item #1-rope, polypro, 1 5/8" dia pl, 8-strand plaited polypropylene rope for use in the mooring of buoys in the ocean environment; per NDBC specification OE-5037; Quantity -- 22,400 ft. Item #2-rope, nylon, 1 3/4", dia, 5 1/2" circ pl, 8-strand plaited nylon rope for use in the mooring of buoys in the ocean environment; per NDBC specification OE-5031; Quantity -- 12,000 ft. A sample may be required from the successful offeror to confirm compliance with specifications. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside.
