This announcement amends above named combined synopsis/solicitation, Purchase, Delivery and Installation of two (2) each latrine/shower trailers for the US Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to Contractor questions on the above named solicitation. Contractor questions are identified as (CON) and Government answers are identified as (GOV): Q1-CON: Will the contractor be required to install steps, deck or ramps to access the trailers? Q1-GOV: No. The government will build and install the steps. Q2-CON: Where will the point of access be to the utilities? Will we simply hook up at the stubbed out utilities from the trailer or will we have to go to your main source? Q2-GOV: Contractor will be required to hook up at the stubbed out utilities from the trailer. Q3-CON: If we have to hook up to your source, do you have a site plan showing locations? Q3-GOV: Answered by Q2 answer. Q4-CON: Will the buildings be set on unimproved ground, asphalt, or concrete? Q4-GOV: The buildings will be set on unimproved ground. Q5-CON: What is the location of Camp Mackall, in reference to Fort Bragg. Q5-GOV: Camp Mackall is approximately 35 miles west of Fort Bragg. Additional Information: Contractor's shall include title fees in the quote provided to the government. QUOTES ARE DUE: The hour and date specified for receipt of offers is not extended. Quotes shall be received via mail at HQ-USASOC ATTN: AOCO (Barbara Bowles), Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 28310, or via fax at (910) 432-9345, not later than 4:00 p.m. ET, 26 Apr 2000.
