First Article Item produced for testing is required for unapproved sources and will become part of production quantity. Destruction in test is not anticipated. The government anticipates releasing a paper Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 08 May 00 to sources requesting an RFP document. Fax requests to the point of contact (POC) are allowed and should be requested in time to meet the RFP response date.
