The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington has a requirement for publishing services for the production of the 2000 Navy Guide to Annapolis and VIP Book for the United States Naval Academy. This will be a Civilian Enterprise (CE) publication as described in DoD Instruction 5120.4. The Government shall incur no costs. All proceeds from the sale of advertisements shall go to the Publisher who agrees to bear all costs and expenses. Contents for the publications shall be provided by the United States Naval Academy Public Affairs Office. The Guides and VIP Books shall be delivered on 18 August 2000. The Publisher shall deliver 5,000 Guides and 10,000 VIP Books. The contract shall also provide for two option years. Offers will be evaluated based on quality, advertising, extras, and past performance. The solicitation is due for release on 18 April 2000. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued.
