SOL 200N00072 DUE 063000 POC ERROR -- ALLYSON SHOE, (770) 488-2649, SECTION I, Mail-Stop K-18 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is planning to make award of a contract: to provide laboratory participants with a set of mock clinically diagnostic specimens for direct detection of mycobacteria using commercial amplification tests; to correlate test performance with technical information about the testing laboratories; to correlate performance on the survey reference specimens with standard quality control and quality assurance measurements; to continue assessment of laboratory performance of amplification testing of MTB to provide a bench level measure against which future assessments of performance could measure change; to assess specific laboratory testing, quality assurance, quality control and reporting practices with a laboratory practices survey instrument; to analyze data from the laboratory practices survey instrument, and produce a report of findings.
