This proposed contract is 100% set-aside for Small Business. This solicitation will be conducted under SIC Code 0783. The size standard for this SIC Code is $5,000,000.00. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide habitat planting and establishment using terrestrial vegetation on roughly 34 acres and provide native grass seeding and herbaceous plantings over 110 acres of land at Murphy Slough, located along the Sacramento River at river mile 187.0 left bank. The work is for the Murphy Slough Restoration Project. Terrestrial Plantings will include: SRA planting in a laidback rock revetment along 2,000 lineal feet of shoreline, riparian planting at 3 separate sites on 8 acres, Oak Woodland planting at 37 separate sites over 10 acres, Oak Savanna planting at 24 separate sites over 11 acres. Terrestrial plants will include pole cuttings and container grown seedlings. All of the above terrestrial vegetation, with the exception of the native grass seeding, will be irrigated and weeded for two to three years. The acquistion method is negotiated procurement. A technical and price proposal will be required. Evaluation by the government will result in the selection of a firm that represents the best value to the government. The proposed procurement listed herein ia a 100% set aside for small business.
