M -- AIRCRAFT LOGISTICS SUPPORT SERVICES (ALSS) The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB, CA is conducting a cost comparison study entitled Aircraft Logistics Support Services (ALSS), which consists of the following functions: Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), Transient Alert Maintenance (T/A), and Airdrop Research and Development Test. These services are currently being performed by the Government, and a cost comparison under OMB Circular A-76 will be conducted to determine the most cost-effective mode of operation. A single solicitation consisting of the three functions listed above was issued on 31 Mar 00. Due to technical difficulties with the EPS system, the solicitation was issued via the Business Solutions Exchange (BSX) only.
