Z -- REPLACE PARADE GROUND SPRINKLER SYSTEM SOL NMA40200T0021 POC Dan Ferguson 314-263-4211 x110 or Frank Yonce 314-263-4211 x101 Fax 314-263-8024 Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for designing, furnishing, and installing a new underground sprinkler system for the parade ground, the areas adjacent to the parade ground to the east and west, and the parking lot planting area northeast of the parade ground. The existing sprinkler supply line at the east end of the parade ground shall be abandoned and capped and the new sprinkler supply shall be from the domestic water line at the west end of the parade ground. A new water meter and backflow preventer shall also be installed The system shall be fully automatic with the controller located in the EMCS at the west end of Building 18. Remove any above ground items of the existing sprinkler system. All work shall be install in accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 60 days. The approximate cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used and 100% of this project is set-aside for small business. All solicitation documents will be available on or about 1 May 2000. The estimated closing date for receipt of quotes is 19 May 2000. The work is located at the National Imagery and Mapping Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, which is east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in the south city of St. Louis.
