The National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has a requirement to procure: an upgrad for the on-site Becton Dickinson FACSCalibur and intends to negotiate on a sole source basis. Becton Dickinson is the only distritutor/manufacturer of the FACSCalibur upgrade with the following features that we require: (1) Compatibility with the Becton Dickinson FACSCalibur flow cytometer, analysis and operating software (2) Cell sorting rate of a t least 300 cells per second with >90% purity. (3) Aerosol free cell sorting (4) On site installation, maintenance and real time trouble shooting by modem.
