Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex, intends to procure 1000 each custom silver anodized rolling toolboxes with rubber caster wheels and retractable handle in accordance with Norfolk Naval Shipyard Drawings along with 100 each custom aluminum racks with lockers for the rolling toolboxes and 1000 sets of padlocks (each set shall contain 3 padlocks keyed-alike). Within 45 days ADC, contractor shall furnish a prototype toolbox and prototype toolbox rack for inspection as a pre-production sample. Upon approval of the prototypes (pre-production sample), contractor shall deliver 80 toolboxes and 8 toolbox racks within 45 days; 80 toolboxes and 8 toolbox racks within 30 days and continue to deliver 80 toolboxes and 8 toolbox racks every 30 days until contract delivery is complete with the last delivery to consist of 40 toolboxes and 4 toolbox racks. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated and shall be awarded on a FOB: Destination basis with delivery to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000.
