This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamline Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation number N00604-00-T-A126 applies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16 and Defense Change Notice 2000413. The standard industrial code is 3621 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for one (1) line item. Line item 0001: Quantity- 6 Each; Item description: Motors, #2590NS00000, 10 HP, 250VDC, 34 amps,Emerson Electric U.S. electrical Motors, for use on portal cranes. The motors are direct replacement parts for existing motors and are the only known equipment that can ensure full compatibility and operability without modification. The CLIN is to be quoted on a fixed price basis. Delivery is required within 45 days after award of contract to be delivered FOB Destination to: Pearl Harbor NSY & IMF, Attn: Receiving Officer, 667 Safeguard St., Ste 100, Bldg 167, Pearl Harbor HI 96860-5033. Inspection and Acceptance shall be made at Destination by the receiving activity. In the event the unit price and extended price are ambiguous, the Government shall use the indicated unit price for evaluation and award purposes.
