The objectives of this contract are: 1) to provide the technical support required to maintain and operate the Highway Safety Information System (HSIS) from November 1, 2000 through December 31, 2005, and 2) to develop a fourth generation of HSIS (HSIS IV) that improves the system in meeting the current and future highway safety data needs of the Federal Highway Administration and the safety community.
