Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism intends to negotiate a one year contract
using simplified acquisition procedures with People, Inc./Pregnancy
Risk Network, 976 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14209, for a project
entitled "Integration of Fetal Alcohol Exposure Clinicians' Guides into
Health Care Practice: Demonstration and Evaluation." The proposed
contract will evaluate the effectiveness of an educational intervention
strategy, characterize the structural and neurocognitive
characteristics of individuals identified with fetal alcohol exposure,
and develop an office-based intervention system related to fetal
alcohol exposure. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as set forth in FAR
6.302-1. People, Inc./Pregnancy Risk Network is the only responsible
source possessing the necessary expertise, specifically the development
and maintenance of the FAS Surveillance Network project, situated in
this specific community where there is a prevalence of fetal-alcohol
