The Indian Health Service (IHS), Wind River Service Unit, located on the Wind River Indian Reservation, Ft. Washakie, Wyoming, is requesting offers from accredited programs to provide child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric services and short term adult psychiatric services including acute stabilization and evaluation of psychiatric emergencies. Communication between the organization and the service unit shall occur at least three (3) times a week on patient progress. Daily patient visits are required. Transportation arrangements for the patient must be made within 24 hours of initial contact from referring agency. Contractor shall provide a timely discharge summary and shall coordinate outpatient follow-up care of the patient with appropriate service unit personnel. All requirements for notificaiton of additional referrals to other outside professionals shall follow 42 CFR Chapter 1 Part 36 (Contract Health Service regulations). Posted 04/18/00 (W-SN446165).
