The West Virginia Army National Guard is seeking potential sources for lease of a Smooth Drum Vibratory Soil Compactor and a Track Type Tractor with Winch and Six-Way Hydraulic Blade. Lease period is May 1, 2000 through September 30, 2000 for Benedum Airport Project, Bridgeport, West Virginia. Performance Specifications for the Compactor: Production based on 135 Horsepower, 84 inch wide single drum, 60 inch diameter, three passes, average speed 3.5 miles per hour with lift thickness of 12 inches and estimated Production of 1597 yards per hour. Performance Specifications for the Track Type Tractor: Production based on the following approximate material densities: Bank 3400 pounds, Loose 2800 pounds, Dozer Distance 50 foot level ground average operator, 60 minute operating hour and estimated production of 85 loose cubic yards per hour. Successful quoter will be responsible for delivery of equipment to project site and pick up of equipment therefrom at end of lease period, and for performance of equipmentmaintenance that is offered with lease. The type of award is Firm Fixed Price. Vendor's offerings will be evaluated on best value considering prices most beneficial to the Government, subject to satisfaction of performance specifications and availability of equipment.
