This project is 100% Small Business Set-aside. It will consist of four structures: Two approximately 135 square feet each and Two approximately 233 square feet each. Construction is a combination of placed concrete, pre-cast concrete panels, structural steel roof framing with steel deck. Roofs shall be standing seam metal over rigid insulation. These structures are to be built on the existing Lock wall and are designed to be flood resistant. They include a significant amount of specialized component construction and complexity requiring care and precision layout and assembly. The contract performance period of 180 calendar days. The range is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. SIC is 1629. For the purpose of determining size, a small business is one whose gross annual receipt does not exceed $17m in a three year period. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued in Late May 2000. Limited quantities of CD-ROM will be available.
