Z -- REPAIR, REPLACE AND RESTORE LIMESTONE FASCADE ON MAIN BUILDING SOL IFB 40020-011-0 POC Larry Burgess PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas has a requirement for a contractor to repair limestone veneer on the south fascade of the main building at the U.S. Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas. The scope of the project includes cleaning, and sealing existing limestone veneer as well as replacement of damaged limestone. The works includes: selective demolition of damaged existing limestone masonry; installing new limestone of the same configuration in place of the removed; cleaning of the existing limestone masonry and sealing the existing limestone masonry. Magnitude of this project is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Recipients of bid packages who do not bid on this project, are encouraged to write and state if you they wish to continue receiving presolicitation notices. A non-refundable charge will be required for the plans and specifications. The cost of the bid package is not known at this time. Additionally, the exact date of the issuance is not known, it is estimated the solicitation will be issued in approximately two months.
