E-MAIL: Tonya Chapman, Tonya.Chapman@altus.af.mil. The Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract is a firm fixed price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract. This contract will include a broad range of numerous maintenance, repair, alternation, and/or new construction work on various real property facilities. The work shall include tasks in various trades including, but not limited to, such as carpentry, pavement repairs, roofing, asbestos abatement/removal, demolition, concrete masonry, welding, HVAC, plumbing, painting, etc. SIC code for this project is 1542. The performance period will consist of a 15 month Basic Period and three 12-month Option Periods. The solicitation will be issued as a competitive 8(a) acquisition restricted to Oklahoma and Texas. The guaranteed minimum contract amount for the life of the contract is $100,000 and will be obligated and applied to the Basic Period. The unguaranteed maximum contract amount will not exceed $7,500,000. The solicitation package will be issued in the form of aRequest for Proposal (RFP) and will be made available for downloading from the Internet (EPS Website) address www.eps.gov on approximately 20 Jun 00 with a closing date tentatively scheduled for 20 Jul 00. All responsible sources meeting the criteria stated herein may submit a proposal. All such proposals shall be considered by the Government.
