The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, transportation, supplies for design and construction of the Contract Health and Health Records Departments at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC). The proposed location will require the renovation of approximately 8300 square feet of the lower level of PIMC. The space is currently unimproved-open warehouse with concrete walls, floors, and ceiling with exposed piping. The contractor shall provide a professional design, endorsed by a professional engineer(s) or architect. Contractor shall provide improvements to convert the existing space to office space with private offices, modular office space, and active file storage area. The office furniture, modular equipment, counters, shelving and file storage equipment will be completed by others and are not included in this contract. The proposed space will require an extension of PIMC's electrical system; extension and modification of the existing HVAC system; and installing conduit for a telephone computer, and paging systems into this space. As well as modification of the existing fire sprinkler system, demolition of the select facilities, and all other improvements required to have a complete and functional space as described. All work performed in this contract shall meet or exceed all industry standards, UBS, NEC, NFPA requirements, and City of Phoenix requirements. Prior to submitting bids, prospective bidders shall be responsible for conducting a thorough site visit to verify measurements and to determine materials, equipment and labor required to perform the work.
