This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ linked above or it may be accessed at http://procurement.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/EPS/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin= . NASA/DFRC plans to acquire one (1) each Ashtech Z-12 Field Surveyor (16 Mb memory), Part No. 990157-16, with the following options: external frequency input (X) (680010); photogrammetry input (P) (680008); RZ Option Kit, firmware and manual (680001, 680002, 6800023, 6907060, 600292); real-time DGPS (base and remote)(D) (680007-1); remote monitor firmware (M)(680009); one (1) pulse per second output (680012); COCOM limit removed with firmware revision (X6J2).
