offers for the purchase of a vehicle to be exported to South America.
This procurement is a small business set aside and a solicitation. No
additional information will be mailed out. The vehicle required is as
follows according to the generic specifications noted:One 4X4 pickup
truck cabin and one half work series, model 2000 which uses unleaded
gasoline. Interior gray color. Instrumentation-voltmeter, oil pressure,
temperature, speedometer, fuel tachometer, cargo light integrated with
high mount stop light, wipers, interval, pickup box tie down hooks,
powerpoint, auxiliary on instrument panel, grab handles, front
a-pillar, driver and passenger side, electronic am/fm stereo w/two
speakers. Air conditioning (optional request and price it separately),
Exterior, Tropic Green color, bumper front -- argent gray painted,
rear step bumper, argent gray painted, clearcoat paint, moldings, wheel
opening, argent gray grille/headlamp surrounds with argent gray egg
crate grille insert. Pick up box -- box rail/tailgate moldings. 16 inch
5 lug argent painted steel wheels w/argent hub (4). P235/7 or
16SLBSWALL season tires (5) full service BSW spare w/steel wheel.
Safety:second generation driver and right front passenger air bag with
passenger deactivation switch (for children seat) seat belt --
adjusatable shoulder. Security lock passive anti-theft system.
Peformance:4.2L EFI V6 engine w/five speed manual O/D transmission.
Spring front (torsion bar), spring rear leaf. Brakes front disc/rear
drum w/rear wheel abs. Alternator 115 amp, 6 volts. Axle front twin
forged upper SLA independent suspension. Axle rear semifloating, fuel
tank 25 gallon jack and tools set & spare tire; repair manual and
parts catalog. The Govt. will make an award to the responsible Offeror
whose offer conforms to the solicitation contained herein and is most
advantageous to the Govt. (i.e. that which represents the best value
for the Government. This vehicle is urgently needed and therefore,
after it is determined that an offered vehicle meets the specifications
as outlined above, the required delivery time ARO will become of
primary importance and will be more significant than cost or price in
the selection of the contractor. The proposed cost or price must be
reasonable and reflect technical requirements. The Govt. may award to
other than the lowest priced Offeror. Total prices quoted must be FOB
