Mount Rainier National Park anticipates issuing an RFQ for the purchase of a clarifier to be installed in a new wastewater treatment plant. The RFQ, when issued, will include all specifications and drawings necessary. However, the Park will be issuing this under FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition, procedures. The requirement is as follows: Fabricate and deliver a circular Clarifier with a conical bottom. Clarifier will be constructed of steel. Size is approximately 12' dia and 11' high. The clarifier will be in a simi-buried environment and will be offloaded by the contractor. The clarifier will be open and contain effluent launder, scum pit, flights, grouted conical base, drain, stilling well with center feed. Gear reducer and motor will be mounted on top. Return activated sludge line will be embedded in the grout and exit the clarifier at the side. all necessary controls will be installed on to the top of the tanks in enclosures.
