Mount Rainier National Park anticipates issuing an RFQ for the purchase of a filter to be installed in a new wastewater treatment plant. The RFQ when issued, will include all specifications and drawings necessary. However, the Park will be issuing this under FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition, procedures. The requirement is as follows: Fabricate and deliver Rapid sand filter constructed of steel. The filter will be approximately 13' long, 10' wide, and 11' high. The filter will be in a semi-buried environment and will be offloaded by the contractor. The filter will consist of a chlorine contact tanks, and other equipment to be further defined in the specifications and drawings. Delivery will be during Summer, 2000. Note 1 applies.
