66 -- GPS EQUIPMENT SOL GA-1-00 DUE 051500 POC Carolyn Adams, 706-546-2280 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be used. Solicitation No. GA-1-00 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 16. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3812. The small business size standard is 750 employees for manufacturers and 500 for non-manufacturers. Contract Line Item No. 1 Global Positioning Equipment; on the pole solution consisting of integrated hardware and software to include: two (2) dual frequency 40 channel L1/L2 receivers with internal antennae with capability of providing advanced multipath reduction; with 4MB internal memory for each receiver; with four (4) standard camcorder batteries; with operating software for preplanning and post processing of data; with one (1) alpha-numeric handheld data recorder with any necessary internal software which must also be compatible with GPS receivers; software must have the capability to process static, stop and go, and kinematic data, must import and export RINEX formatted data, and must operate under NT Operating System; with (1) two-meter fixed height GPS tripod; with one (1) two-meter fixed height GPS composite rover rod; one (1) thumb release coposite Bi-pod; with two (2) battery chargers for GPS receiver batteries; carrying case/shipping case for GPS equipment and accessories; and all cables and attachments for linking computers and other pieces of GPS equipment furnished for both field and office environments. 1 SET $________. In addition to the standard certifications, Certification at AGAR 452.222-70 must be submitted with the offer. The VETS 100 report is required prior to award.
