Test (DT-3), Brilliant Anti-Armor Submunition and repair of the
submunition test hardware. Also, the Army will buy 14 each BAT
simulants. There will be options for: a) Assessment of the effect of
hardware or software upgrades on the operational effectiveness of the
BAT submunition, b) BAT submunition test support during the Block II
Operational Tests, c) BAT flight failure analysis. Northrop Grumman
Corporation, Baltimore, MD has been determined to be the only source
capable of providing these supplies and services in a timely and cost
effective manner. No date has been established for receipt of a
proposal since the Army and the contractor are working together, as a
team, under 'Alpha' procedures, developing the Statement of Work and
