for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR
12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. (ii)
Solicitation F44600-00-Q-0110 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).
Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. (iii) The
solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures
(SAP) FAR Part 12. This solicitation document and incorporated
provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 97-15. (iv) The Standard Industrial Classification
Code is 7371 with a size standard, averaged over a one year period of
$18,000,000. (v) Langley AFB plans to procure a sole source acquisition
with Sterling Software (U.S.), Inc. for license fees renewal and
technical support of the SS-SMART-02 software. In addition Sterling
Software (U.S.), Inc. holds the sole license for the sale of
SS-SMART-02 software. (vi) The following requirements are applicable:
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials,
tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide
license fee renewals and software support for the SS-SMART-02 software.
(vii) Delivery: Performance Period will be 1 May 2000 through 30
September 2000. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) N/A. (x)
Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at
52.212-3, Deviation Offeror Representations and Certifications
Commercial Items (OCT 99) and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and
Certifications Commercial Items (NOV 95) with its offer. (xi) Clause
