The purpose of this quotation is to secure fire lookout services at the Round Mountain and Manzanita Lookout Towers on the Big Valley Ranger District, and the Happy Camp Lookout on the Devil's Garden Ranger District, and the Timber Mountain Lookout Tower, all on the Modoc National Forest. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, and operating supplies except those designated as Government-furnished property, required to detect, locate and report smokes or fires within and adjacent to the Modoc National Forest; to monitor and forward radio messages; and to collect, record, and report daily fire weather observations and special weather readings.
