Services to include programs specific to Native Americans and
Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Services. Concerns having the ability
for providing Comprehensive Sanctions Center Services to include
programs specific to Native Americans and Transitional Drug Abuse
Treatment Services for male and female Federal offenders. Interested
offerors are requested to give written notification (including
telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office
listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody,
control, accountability and treatment including dental care. The
services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons'
Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Farmington,
New Mexico area. Operational hotel/motels will not be considered as a
physical plant for this requirement. For Line Item #1 the total number
of inmate days are 14,600 inmate days for the two year base period and
7,300 inmate days for the first, secondand third option years
respectively. For Line Item #2 Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment
Services the total estimated number of inmates are as follows for the
two year base period: Estimated Number of Inmates: 32, 32 Intake
Assessments (one per inmate per year), 48 -- 30 minute Individual
Counseling Sessions (per inmate per year), 52 -- 30 minute Group
Counseling Sessions (per inmate per year), 32 -- 30 minute Family
Counseling Sessions (per inmate per year); and the Estimated Number of
Inmates: 16, 16 Intake Assessments (one per inmate), 48 -- 30 minute
Individual Counseling Sessions (per inmate), 52 -- 30 minute Group
Counseling Sessions (per inmate) and 32 -- 30 minute Family Counseling
Sessions (per inmate) for option years 1, 2 and 3 respectively.
Estimated RFP issue date is May 15, 2000. Estimated closing date is
June 14, 2000, 2:00 p.m. local time. Contract base period is 2 years,
with three one-year options to renew. A requirements contract is
anticipated. All responsible sources maysubmit a proposal which shall
be considered by this agency. No telephone calls for solicitations will
